11 things you must have in your handbag ahead of a crazy night

Hi rebels,
This post is long overdue. Has this ever happened to anybody else on here? You leave your house for say the island or ikeja but for some unexplainable reason or because of lust or traffic you could not make it back home? For me, the most annoying part is feeling disorientated because I can't get access to certain basic things that I am already used to having. So I have compiled this list as a guide as to what you should have on your handbag for those crazy nights where you are not sure if you will be sleeping out or heading back home. Enjoy:

1. A Tooth Brush: you cannot begin to comprehend how disgusting it is to wake up at some place you are not used to and then needing to brush but because you don't know if knocking at the host's door at 5am is appropriate you just keep tossing in bed till you are certain he/ she is awake. I hate it!
Tip:  you can avoid this ugly situation if you pack your own tooth brush. Simple something.
2. An Extra Underwear: this is a very important item because it is bad enough that as a woman you might get to sleep in the very underwear you left home with because of circumstance but shame on you if you have to wear that same underwear home the next day. Hygiene is very key, please endeavour to pack an extra underwear. Thanks.
3. Some Wet Baby Wipes: these are live savers. I prefer baby wipes because they tend to be gentler on the skin. You can never go wrong with baby wipes. Why are baby wipes so essential? Well, you can use them to take off your previous day's makeup. They also come in handy for extra activities like getting oil off your hands and getting dust off your feet especially if you have just had a long and dust filled journey. Please invest in them.
4. Red Lipstick: now these are very important because after taking off your make up before bed you will wake up looking entirely different from how you arrived in the morning. Now you don't want anything spoiling your bad ass reputation so you need a red lipstick. It helps to take away attention from your facial features.it also looks good on all skin types and matches all outfits.
5. A Pair of Sunglasses: these helps to cover your eyes especially if you have dark circles and if you pair it with the red lipstick nobody is going to ever suspect that you have no makeup on. It is a steal.
6. A Hair brush/ Comb: messy hair in the morning is a clear pointer that you did not spend the night at your house so do pack in a hair brush or comb depending on your hair style. Ensure that your hair is neat.
7. Your Phone Charger: a million and one times I have forgotten my phone charger and all one million and one times I have regretted it. Some people are not as generous with their phone chargers as they might be with their food. Sometimes you get to your destination and nobody else uses your type of charger.
Tip: pack in your charger first to avoid being sorry.
8. Flat Slippers: I am not going to emphasise on this. If you are going out in heels, packing a pair of flat slippers or sandals is a MUST. Heed my advice else body go tell you. Lol.
9. Money + ATM Card: there's no point going out if you don't have money. Really. Even on a date you should have vex money how much more an adventure. Have at least 3000 naira cash or please go along with your ATM. This is Lagos. Anything can happen.
10. Notepad + Pen: this is for those peeps with creative minds. Sometimes marvellous ideas hit you at the most unexpected times. Having a note pad and pen ensures that you are quick to put down your thoughts before the idea completely slips your mind.
11. A Pack of Condoms: if you are going to visit the boo, please take your own pack of condoms along. Boo is human too and might forget to buy condoms. If you depend on your man's pull out game you might end up sorry. You owe it to yourself to protect yourself at all times, always remember that.
That's all there is from me. I hope this made for an interesting read. Feel free to comment if you feel I have left out something essential from the list.
Xoxo,
The Lagos Rebel 
