Delicious burger, affordable Experience.

Hi everyone.
I finally broke free of the devil's clutches and went out! Yaaaay!!
Prior to today, I had been craving burgers. It doesn't help that I follow several food porn accounts on twitter. So yesterday I decided to indulge in one. One place easily came to mind and that's because I have had an encounter with them on a previous occasion.
So I wore my make up, got dressed, packed my camera and headed for BBQ AND CRAVINGS.

THE JOURNEY
       I almost broke down in tears. Those traffic lights Leading up to chisco roundabout in Lekki, weldone. I spent over an hour on that very road.
Coming back home was a lot faster than going. I observed that there is usually little to no traffic late at night.

I almost slept on the road. Plus the cms park is one dirty park. The government should do something about it ASAP!

BBQ AND CRAVINGS
The environment: it is so easy to miss the place because of how hidden it is but ask questions and you should be fine. Don't go about asking where Bbq and cravings is directly as a lot of people don't know the place. Ask rather for Diamond bank plc and hero's furniture.

The restaurant sits on a small section of land... It has a true welcoming feel about it. You go up to the building by your right to place your order and then they give you a table number. That's how they locate you when your order is ready. In the eating section, there is nothing fancy... just wooden benches and tables covered with red and white check material. a couple of tables have wet wipes and hand sanitizers to ensure you eat with clean hands. The whole eating section is surrounded by white boards where you can leave your signature. It's nothing fancy but it does the trick. It makes you crave a burger so bad.

The old country burger: this is their signature burger. It is a burger that comes with a beef patty, egg and sausages. Don't you just love it? It was a mouthful. 

Now as you can see, at bbq and cravings each meal comes with two sides of fries and a drink. I ordered coleslaw and potato wedges. The burger was excellent! Better than kfc. Better than steers. It was so spicy! It tasted like heaven. Every condiment in the burger was well seasoned. Each bite took me closer to Mars. Like seriously! It also had lots of cream, I love a messy burger. lol.
The coleslaw was fresh and cold. I like that they added fresh free peppers and cucumber peels in the mix. It was so tasty that I finished it in a go. I'm not sorry.
The potato wedges were a disaster. They looked like they had been cut and put in a freezer and had spent some time. Plus I expected sweet potatoes, imagine my disappointment. The sauce that came with the wedges were a saving grace. Please work on the wedges management.

The manager, Mr Olumide: I got to meet him and I must say he is pretty social. It was so easy talking to him. He answered all of my questions without hesitation. We even talked of the economy. I wanted to know how he runs the place with the current dollar situation. Here's what he had to say.

We are not directly affected by the unfavourable exchange rate as majority of our food supplies are manufactured locally... maybe ketchup... We are determined to ride out the waves... since we first opened, our prices haven't gone up.
